Even before pursuing his career as a filmmaker Detlev Buck a thought. He has long wanted to direct a film that tells not only on the edge of a love story. They should be exclusively on the theme of love, and this issue always be centrally located in the heart of the action. As it is the book wherever you go, where were the stories of Benjamin experienced examiner wrote down, got into his hands, he was clear to him. Never before had felt that Detlev meaning of love with all its consequences so intense. That with the warmth of the responsibility is growing, this should be given priority in the movie. relates the positive elements of the film SAME SAME BUT DIFFERENT not from a spectacular directing, none of rapid camera movement, or a quick cut technique. No, this will be taken above all time to tell a story. The feeling of two people to each other, the differences can hardly be to come take in the entire running length of 107 minutes. The viewer is one to one and the same joys and the sorrows noticed. Everything that happens around it, becomes incidental. Even the city of Phnom Phen, which could have even used as an exotic city with its over-population for a more attractive, remains discreetly in the background. So, to start from this point of view, the assessment can only be a positive. However, a very big film to be, it would have a better look, a more intense atmosphere, or requires an independently identifiable direction. Even the sympathy with the protagonists is within the manageable limits. But, all seen in all, the result SAME SAME BUT DIFFERENT overall an entertaining, and thanks to the interesting content, a very rewarding overall impression.

Conclusion:

director Detlev Buck shows SAME SAME BUT DIFFERENT a film that conveys the qualities of his narrative to the story. This gives it appeal to those who want to "go to the movies" animate. Although the technical matters not significantly more a TV production have to be made then the aforementioned content as well as the extremely likeable performer points. So if you like want to see a European romance in an exotic country should look at this movie file.
