We arrived safely in Istanbul and store in a campsite. Here it was tinkered a bit and repaired. So I have given my trailer because my Mercedes is a little slower anyway. The diesel has been around quite expensive. Cheap it is only in Iran.
We now want to stay in 9 days through Turkey and then go across the border with Iran. There is certainly much more complicated something. We arrived in Istanbul and stay overnight at a camping site. Here we did some last tinkering and repairing. I gave away my trailer because my Mercedes is a bit slower. Diesel is quite expensive everywhere it will only get cheaper in Ran. We plan to cross Turkey in 9 days and cross the border to Iran then. There some things will get more complicated, I'm sure. I hope to find
a good Internet connection soon to report more detailed and also to answer the comments in the blog. So far all entries in the blog were done by my father based on SMS from me.
